I sent some squid to Paper Crane for their carnival/sideshow themed show.  It will run until the 28th but here's a sneak peak of one of the squid.  Stop by if you can.  Everything showing will most likely be delightful.

Travel Time

Hey Folks,
We are getting ready to drive across a few states to make it to INDIEanna Handicraft Exchange that is happening Saturday.  I will be indoors at Booth #44.  Even though I won't have my tent the space is bigger than normal indoor spaces (yay!!) so I will have my aprons (double yay!!!).  Since this summer involved not knowing when our move would happen this is the only show I was able to so you won't see me around again until the fall.  But that's good news for Indiana since I have so much new stuff to show you!  There are lots of new aprons to gander at along with new squid (accessories and types) and of course Tadly and Abigail will be making an appearance.

For INDIEanna Handicraft

Here are a few of the new items I finished up this weekend for INDIEanna Handicraft.  The squid were the last things I needed to finish up for the show so except for some trunk repairs and figuring out how to display my aprons inside I'm ready.

Desk Mess

Yesterday I stopped embroidering long enough to look at my desk and realized I could no longer remember why there were various Tadly piled high.  I decide that I needed to clean but I figured I'd take a picture first since you rarely see what someone's desk looks like when it's actually in use.  Mainly because it's shameful and also you just don't have time to think about pictures when you're working away (but for me it's mainly shame- that bowl has been there far too long).
I also decided that I should catch up on packaging some wayward squid magnets.  Since these guys are new I don't have a box to put finished ones in yet and I wanted to keep them in sight so they are not forgotten.  Hence, I improvised.

I bought this spice rack to hold all of Tadly's suckers and pupils.  Since I punch them out all by hand I pick a day or two and get a stockpile going in all of the various colors and sizes I need.
The magnet squids have since found a new home all packaged up and in the trunk waiting for next month. The desk has about one more week before it's back to normal.
